End of Sale Announcement for Controller Model SD41 – Oct 17 2014

3PS controller model SD41 is being announced as End-of-Sale (EOS) with the last day for ordering being on December 19, 2014. The SD41 technology is no longer supportable due to component obsolescence. The SD50 replacement has been commercialized and fielded during the past 12 months and offers not only continuity of supply but substantial increases in capability and serviceability.

3PS customers that currently have SD41 controllers are encouraged to upgrade to our SD50 controller as soon as possible. The capability to repair existing SD41 units will be maintained through Dec 31 2015 contingent upon component availability. Customers are encouraged to identify potential needs over the next 15 months ASAP to allow 3PS to procure obsoleting components on a last time buy and support customer needs during 2015.

After this time, SD41 units will no longer be eligible for repair. 3PS field support for SD41 units will continue throughout the life of the controller. Once a SD41 is deemed “non-repairable”, the system will need to be upgraded to an SD50 controller unit.
