Sensors
Our standard and heavy duty Angle Sensors are available in a variety of ranges, outputs and packaging to meet a wide range of application needs including boom angle, list and trim, and level indicators for a wide range of industrial applications.
- Boom angle sensor – measures 0-90 degrees perpendicular with the earth, depending on the load that is being picked up
- Slew angle sensor – mounted to the gear on the sensor that moves the crane, measures 0-360 degrees and makes lock-out zones for safety
- Rotary encoder – for a scenario requiring very high precision, encoder measures how fast crane is rotating
Standard Angle Sensor
- Incline Sensing Resolution: .025°. Two-Point Digital Calibration (Both Points Must be Within 175° Window). Measurement Range: ±175° (Referenced to Midpoint Between the Two Cal Points). Accuracy: ±0.6°. Temperature Drift: ±0.0167°C. Digital Output: 3PS Data Network.
- Power Supply: 12VDC or 24VDC. Connectors: Turck Minifast, Meets NEMA 1, 3, 4, 6P and IEC IP67 for 3PS Data Network Pass-Thru.
- Fiberglass Enclosure with Stainless Steel Mounting Plate. Ingress Protection IP66, NEMA 4X. Operating Temperature: -40°C to +65°C.
Heavy Duty Angle Sensor
